Kiratva comes from the Himalayas of Uttarakhand, India—specifically the Kumaon region, where life is shaped by altitude, patience, and balance with nature.
The name Kiratva draws inspiration from the Kirats, mountain communities known for endurance, discipline, and an inherited understanding of Himalayan terrain. Their way of life—measured, respectful, and resilient—forms the foundation of Kiratva’s philosophy.
FOUNDER'S NOTE
KIRATVA was not created to follow a market trend. It was created to protect something that was being lost.
In the hills of Uttarakhand, Shilajit was never treated as a commodity. It was approached with patience, restraint, and respect for natural time.
Preparation mattered more than speed. Purity mattered more than scale.
What we follow at KIRATVA is not an industrial method, nor a copied formula. It is a refined Rasāyana discipline, learned through observation, tradition, and years of quiet practice. Much of this knowledge was never meant for mass replication — and it still isn’t.
Every batch is prepared slowly, deliberately, and in limited quantity. Not because more cannot be made — but because it should not be.
KIRATVA Uttarakhand Shilajit is offered only to those who value
authentic origin, restrained process, and integrity over claims.
This is not a product made to impress everyone.
It is preserved for those who understand.
— Founder, KIRATVA
Growing up in Uttarakhand meant understanding that the mountains do not allow shortcuts. Resources are limited, seasons are strict, and survival depends on restraint as much as effort. Nature rewards honesty and punishes excess.
In 2020, Kiratva began working with Himalayan Shilajit resin, long before it became widely commercialized. Working with Shilajit in its raw form requires high-altitude familiarity, seasonal collection, and traditional purification methods. Every batch demands time, human effort, and patience—never acceleration.
Over time, this journey naturally expanded to Keeda Jadi (Cordyceps Sinensis) and select Himalayan herbs sourced from remote elevations. These rare resources are collected ethically, in limited quantities, and preserved in their natural state to maintain integrity and potency.
Kiratva follows a principle of responsible sourcing—taking only what the mountains offer and safeguarding ecosystems that cannot recover from forced extraction. Decisions are guided by indigenous knowledge rather than commercial urgency.
We are not a mass-production wellness brand. Kiratva operates through small-batch processes, strict quality assessment, and complete transparency. Every product carries the quiet strength of the Himalayas and the hands of the people who understand them.
